Garments merchandiser is a key person in a  Industry.

 He/She like a bridge between buyer and Garments Industry. Merchandiser also  responsible for almost everything like Promoting order as per season, Sampling, Buying raw materials, Coordinating production of garments, Finishing & Packing of goods, Preparing documents, Shipment in time, and Finally payment realization.

  20 Points to be followed by an expert Merchandiser:

1. Communication with buyer for promoting order as per season.

2. Sampling as per buyer requirement.

3. Communication with supplier for raw materials &  price.

4. Costing of garments selected by buyer.

5. Order confirmation negotiating price.

6. Getting purchase order from buyer.

7. Order placing  for raw materials.

8. Approval of lab-dip.

9. Receiving Master L/C in time.

10. Receive Raw-materials in time.

11. Check raw-materials inventory report .

12. Get approval of pre-production sample.
13. Re-check Fabric consumption before start production.

14. Production Planning with related department

15. Monitoring  production  and ensure quality of garments.

16. Check  finishing and packing of goods.

17. Take responsibility of inspection of goods.

18. Giving shipping instruction to export dept. as well as buyer.

19. Send shipping sample to buyer.

20. Finally payment realization after shipment.
